Getting started

From creating an account to monitoring your database.

1. Create an account

Sign up from the sign-in page with your name, email address and password. Open the link in the verification email, and you can sign in.

If your company has set up SSO, you can sign in with your company account from "Sign in with your company account (SSO)".

2. Create a project

The first time you sign in, you are asked to create a project. Database connections, monitoring, members and subscriptions all belong to a project.

3. Choose a plan

Choose Starter or Business under "Plans & billing". Both include a 14-day free trial, once per project.

You pay by credit card. Annual subscriptions can also be paid by bank transfer against an invoice. For Enterprise, contact us.

4. Register a database connection

Under "Connections", click "Add connection" and enter a display name and connection string. For Cloudflare D1 and BigQuery, connect your Cloudflare or Google account instead and pick the database or project. Scandock checks the connection, the AI reads the schema and proposes monitor items, and monitoring starts.

See the following pages for which user to connect with and how Scandock reaches your database.

5. Set up notifications

Under "Notifications", register where incidents are sent: email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, Discord, LINE, LINE WORKS, Chatwork, kintone or a webhook.

6. Register remediations (optional)

Under "Actions", register the steps that may be taken when something goes wrong (SQL, or sending to an integration). The AI proposes them with its investigation's conclusion. Anything that writes runs only after a person approves it.

SQL actions need a connection registered with an administrator connection string.

7. Invite members

Invite people by email under "Members". You can choose the admin, member or viewer role.
